Hello, my name is Sanya Elswyth Walma.

I am a working transgender writer in my twenties. This is my space for sharing poems and the occasional short story. I freelance for a living, perform spoken word now and then, and am also working on a route to publish my first novel.

I enjoy a little darkness, a little horror, some romance, some philosophy, psychological depth, quirky levity, reflecting on the past, and exploring people’s beliefs and ideals. Some of my favorite writers include Mary Shelley, Edgar Allen Poe, Lois Lowery, Ursula K. Le Guin, Stephen King, & Kate Quinn.

Also, I’d love to collaborate on other projects, particularly with musicians who may be interested in doing an accompaniment to some poems.
